About P. Chacón

A little about my background:

I’ve been painting for 15+ years & have sold private commissions, original artwork, and have participated in solo & group exhibits from NC to NYC.

I received my Bachelor’s in Studio Art & Psychology at UNC-W in 2010.

Much of my art offers the raw perspective of everyday life, especially in cities. I like to highlight what you may have missed on your daily commute.

I have recently taken a turn in my work, focusing on finding serenity in color field painting. New physical limitations have introduced me to a new pace, a new palette, and new stopping points. I am fully embracing all of it, and cannot wait to begin a larger body of work in this fresh direction.
